Rosewater Mint Lemonade
Country of Origin: Palestine
I can never, ever, everrrr have people over and not craft a fun cocktail. This creative drink is an unequivocal rendition of my childhood coming full circle in my 20s. Crafted from the dried mint that my mom gifted me and dedicated to the memory of hot summer days sipping premade lemonade that my grandma splashed some rosewater into.

Method
To make the syrup, start by heating water, sugar, and dried mint leaves in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Once dissolved, remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 30 minutes. Strain mint leaves and set syrup aside.
For the lemonade, fill a pitcher with ice. Add water, lemon juice, mint syrup, and 3 capfuls of rosewater to the pitcher. Top off with vodka if making boozy and serve. ☮︎☆♡
